Sunday Mar 7, 2010 #

Walk 1:35:00 [3] 6.0 km (15:50 / km)

Took Jo and Cameron to the Dial for a Sunday Morning walk from the Gnomen car park over Gnomen and onto Dial then return. Unfortunately overcast conditions ruined any view. Cameron has too much energy, moved along very easily. Brunch at Crustys was great finish.

Paddle 1:00:00 [3] 4.0 km (15:00 / km)

Afternoon paddle with Jo up and down the Cam. Overcast conditions but very peaceful in the cam. Tide was rushing in under the bridge so got some good resistance training in. Jos first training paddel for this years Tullah Challenge! Vets womens team. Finished the day with a coffe then wine at fish frenzy while waiting for camo to finish at the flicks. Very relaxing!

Trek 2:45:00 [3] 15.0 km (11:00 / km)

Trek with AB on Friday night. Start at 9pm and shuffled / treked around the dial circuit via ironcliffe rd. Very humid out so coat soon disappeared. Nice little hit out and apart from wanting to throw up tea - which just wouldnt happen no matter how far my fingers went down my throat.
Not much conversationin me by saturday evening following waorking in the morning, on patrol at the surf club sat arvo and working behind the bar sat night.

Thursday Mar 4, 2010 #

Paddle 1:00:00 [3] 8.0 km (7:30 / km)

Paddle with AB and steve to Red rock and return. Been a while since i had been out of the river so spent more time balanciing than paddling. Marms would have been happy with the fall in on the return journey!

Final xmas present training, all strength bsaed heaps of boxing, physical work and even had a speed harness fitted to drag a weight along. Has been very, very good cross training using very simple techniques and gear to achieve very solid work outs. Plenty of things to try and continue with.

Run 1:00:00 [3] 7.0 km (8:34 / km)

Run with the hockey boys around somerset and on the beach, finishing with a 4m shuttle session in the sand. Good way to end a solid day of training.

Swim 45:00 [3]

Arms were very sore so i opted for a swim to try and recover. Water temperature still magnificent. Magic evening again.

exercise circuit, all upper body work, very fatigued at the end. Tipping I will be sore tomorrow.

Monday Mar 1, 2010 #

Run intervals 1:15:00 [4] 9.0 km (8:20 / km) +200m 7:30 / km

Run from the surf club along the beach then up to wsps and around to goat track. Did 10 x 1minute up the goat track with 2minute jog back down and recovery, return journey to the surf club.
