Run 1:30:00 [3] 12.0 km (7:30 / km)

Run / trek around the tracks and beaches at Wynyard with Jo. Enjoyable morning out, river track at Wynyard impassable near the highway bridge due to flood damage - plenty of repair work to do for the council. Jo struggled at the start but improved as the the run went on....... long time since her last 12km!

Hour on the block buster splitting wood....... no need for weights. Hands still sore from yesterday. Very different exercise!!!

MTB 1:10:00 [3] 20.0 km (3:30 / km)

Afternoon ride with Camo along tracks at Burnie out to Fernglade, loop around the bottom section of fernglade then return. Again plenty of flood damage at fernglade with plenty of clean up work required. After ride went to surf club and had a swim. Water temperature was great.

Spent a couple of hours splitting and stacking wood at home............dont even have wood heater! Hands a mess of blisters when done so toughening up for paddle legs. Bloody good exercise and buggered when done!

Had been busy week at work so no time for training until this run with Steve and AB. Penguin Golf Club to dial range onto Penguin-Cradle trail and along tramtrack. Moved ok early but hills were no fun, tram trak wiped clear of canopy and got a great view of the river as we went along. Trip back was a little quicker and I knew I would pay at some stage, started cramping 3km from home so wasnt a pleasant journey! Good hit out but plenty of hill work still to do!

Beach run from surf club to cooee point and return - didnt feel too bad, legs a little sore from the weekend,
