On the MTB with Steve, rode up to guide falls and headed into the bush to see if we could make it back to Somerset. Had no map so we were navigating by "feel". Lots of dead end tracks and after two hours in the bush we had managed to make it half way and came out on a gravel road just out of ridgley. Need to head a bit further north west, but doesnt seem to be tracks to link up with. Some very good climbs and had a dip on the way home. Good outing.......... took the gps and marked some way points at various intervals. Will look on Google to see where we were!

worked this morning and on parks and garderns with jo in the afternoon. Spent an hour on the block buster splitting and stacking wood buggerered by the end. Finished the day with a walk from cooee to burnie with the family.

Paddle (should read balance practice) in the surf at Surf club. Swamped my plastic boat so went for a surf ski, was good fun for the times i was able to catch a wave, also did cardio work out.........on the ski / off the ski!! lucky it was warm water.
