Evening run/hike with Kyle up Mt. Diablo. Felt pretty good for first 2.5hrs, but then stomach started bothering me a bit for the rest of the outing and fitness disparity really started to show. The magic tow line came out which was great. We saw a group of large feral hogs, which are very aggressive. I could tell Kyle was scarred so I acted unnearved to make him feel better, at least I think thats how it went. It seemed like a good spot to pick up the pace so I increased the tempo until they were gone. Kyle seemed a little disappointed to not be able to play with them. When we got back, I need to take a moment to myself to let my stomach tell me it was unhappy. Cindy tried to fatten Kyle up with homemade carrot cake, but he did not crack. Good time out, one of those days where I feel like I increased by baseline a bit and can build on it over the next two months.

Good morning run w/ Kyle and Jonathan. I need to get faster to let these guys really go. They just float away at times. We skipped the planned intervals and as we pushed the first climb I regreted it as it least with intervals we restart every 3 min. Good time out this morning.
