You could see this rough day coming. The forecast all week called for a lot rain at the end of the week. To complicate matters, last night my flight was on the runway to take off back home right at sundown. The lights in the runway malfunctioned and we were called back to the gate for 2 hours. Ultimately, they closed the airport and I scrambled to get a rental car drive an hour to another airport and catch the last flight home. In bed at 1:40am, up at 4:05 for ride in pouring rain.

Ride was as expected, slow due to high winds, downed tree limbs and poor visibility. The shoulder narrowed in a section and I was looking at a passing car and went into a ditch, but fotrunatelly stayed upright. Had to endure KP laughing for the remaining hour of the ride. Anyway, it was not fast , but I was tired at the end anyway and it is in the bank.
