Overslept and almost bailed entirely. Instead, forced myself out of bed and cut the plan short by an hour. 30lb pack and pushed the pace on the back half a bit. I was a bit out of it and did not plan a good route (wanted more elevation.) A little prep prior to next week. I do not spend much time in Redwood Park in the day light and usually just look at KP's shoes and pray he will slow down. I was able to get a better context of the trails today.
