Hike/Scramble 3:30:00 [3] +1030m

Hiked Yamnuska with Mike. It was pretty windy and cold up high with ice and snow in patches on the ground. It flurried for most part of the hike, but got very sunny and nice on the way down. Saw a few late season climbers on the wall.

Two sets of tabata with a 6 minute walk in between sets.
2 x {8x20 sec @ 90-100%, 10 secons rest in between}.

Felt a little slower than usual. Not sure why. Still had a good workout though.

Along the heights and around the park nearby. Just a jog with a steady pace. I forgot my Garmin so I have no data available.

30+ min warm up drills

4 x 8 min @ E3, cadence 105-115, part of the time spent in the drops
2 min rest in between reps

15 min @ E2 and E3, varying the slope for the first half 1, 3, 2, 4, 2, 1 and varying the cadence the second half 105, 110, 115, 110, 115

Cool down

I can't wait to get real road shoes so that I can put my new pedals on the bike!

Nice hot tubbing after the class!

Another tabata run. I didn't have lunch today so I felt a bit out of energy, but I still got through the 8 reps. It was quite nice out with warm temperatures and we got out before dark for a change.
