Hiked up Moose mountain with Mike today. It's the first of November and it felt like a nice summer day! Super sunny and warm. We met a bunch of interesting paople on the way. One guy knew Mike's dad from way back and another group of people were preparing for a hike up Kilemanjaro to celebrate their 50th birthdays. We hung out at the top for around an hour just to enjoy the views and the sunshine. It looks like the weather will repeat itself tomorrow. Sweet!

Good spin tonight. Spent some time in E4 which made things more fun.


Warm-Up

Main Set:

3 x 10 minutes, including following:

2 minutes at E3
3 minutes at E4
2 minutes at E3
3 minutes at E4

Varied the slopes from +2, +4, +2, +4, 0 . In slope +4 we would alternate in the drops and on the bar. Big ring same gear for all of it.

rest for 5 minutes

3 minutes at E4
2 minutes at E3
3 minutes at E4
2 minutes at E3

Here we varide the slopes similar to above set but +2 was changed for +4 and +4 were changed for +6 and we did more of them. We would alternate standing up and sitting down. This was the toughest set. Big ring same gear for all of it.

rest for 5 minutes

2 minutes at E3
3 minutes at E4
2 minutes at E3
3 minutes at E4


This one we altered the slope more like in the first set with only two +6 and for the last 3 minutes we just went steady. Big ring same gear for all of it.


5 -10 minute rest


Second Set:

4 x 15 seconds AnP
15 seconds E2

rest for 1 minute

4 x 15 seconds AnP
15 seconds E2
