Mountain Biking 3:00:00 [3] 45.0 km (4:00 / km)

Porcupine shuttle ride. This year they took us further up the mountain than last year. The ride was awesome. What else can I say! Wish we were staying another week.

Mountain Biking 2:00:00 [3] 18.0 km (6:40 / km)

Amasa Back up and down in some hot weather. It's 32C! I figured out some more technical climbing today including some bigger uphill steps. I was a bit wimpier on the downhill today though. I got pretty dopy up high when we stopped for our little break and just didn't feel as sharp on the way down. Once out by the road we had a little downhill race back to the cars where noone was allowed to pedal their bike. Only rolling allowed. I cheated off the start and had to apply my brakes until I was at the back of the pack, but I managed to work my way up to a second place. 57.7 km/hr. Mike Doma had a huge crash right off the start of the ride and bent his seat. No serious injury though. Mike Brown also had a gooder coming down a big step. He landed flat on his chest and even busted the buckle offf his watch. No injury there either thankfully. Tomorrow we'll do the porqupine shuttle.

Mountain Biking 3:45:00 [3] 50.0 km (4:30 / km) +1500m 3:55 / km

Awesome day riding the porqupine loop from town. The first 18.5km were on road from town to the trail head. Mostly uphill. The trail then starts with a super fun climb up to the porqupine lookout. From there it's all downhill (with only a few short climbs). Rode with the three Mikes. In fact, I felt a little left out so I was Mike J for the day, making it the group of 4 Mikes. Tomorrow we'll ride Amasa Back as well as something else added on.

Mountain Biking 2:30:00 [3] 30.0 km (5:00 / km)

Today we rode Flat Pass. I love this trail! It's not flat as the name suggests, but full of little technical up and downs. We mistakenly thought this trail would take much longer because last year when we rode this with a couple of friends it took pretty much all day to get through it. Today we rode through it with just one little break to watch some jeepers drive through some insane stuff. This trail gives me such confidence booster. I am able to ride all the little drops and climbs and some sections are pretty fast. Fun, fun, fun!

Mountain Biking 4:00:00 [3] 40.0 km (6:00 / km)

Rode the Sovereighn strails. Only part of the Sovereighn trails right off the parking lot was fun (which we hit on the way back to the car). The rest was not worth riding if you come down to Moab. There are way better trails. I was pretty bitchy for the first couple of hours since the riding was so frustrating, but in the end we got some fun Moab style riding.
