Mountain Biking 2:21:00 [3] 33.0 km (4:16 / km) +355m 4:03 / km

Rode the Magnificent 7 with Mike, Lucas, James and Brian. This was a really fun trail. Glad we did this one before going home. Luca's mentioned that it was his favorite of the week. A couple of good climbs in there but otherwise flowy, twisty with some technical bits. Nice to finish with such a fun ride.

Running (Trail) 1:00:00 [3]

After our ride, Mike and Brian added on some more riding, but I decided to go for a trail run. Did the Lazy Trail, and some of Deadman and back. Ran into 4 rattle snakes. Two of them really spooked me out as they were sort of standing up, but no bites. Had wanted to run a bit longer but it was brutally hot at over 30C and I came back a bit early.

Mountain Biking 40:00 [3] 5.0 km (8:00 / km)

Attempted Slick Rock in the middle of the afternoon which was really hot. No surprise really but Wakana and I turned around after 20 minutes while Mike and James finished the loop. My rear tire is quite worn down from the week of riding here. The rock just eats the rubber.

Porcupine Rim shuttle day with the whole gang. Really fun day with lots of technical riding. Rode back into town for a bite of pizza before heading to Slick Rock.

Arches National Park trail run. Fun rolly and rocky terrain. Found some cool rock formations and photo opportunities.

Amazaback ride with Revy, Lucas, James and Mike. Rode a new section up high that looped around a different way from previous years. I was a bit over my head technically through the first bit of the new trail back down, but overall a fun ride.

Great ride on the classic Porcupine loop from the town of Moab with Mike, Lucas, James and Wakana. Started with a long climb out of town on gravel road up to the trail head. The first part of the trail climbs up to the lookout and has some really fun technical sections. From the lookout it's mostly downhill - very, very fun. Rode pretty well technically and cleaned a couple of sections that I didn't the last time we were here. Rode with a heavier pack today which didn't feel too bad. Looking forward to Amazaback tomorrow.

Mountain Biking 45:00 [3]

A night ride on Pipe Dream to test out our new lights. The trail was a bit technical and twisty with lots of fun rocks. The lights were absolutely awesome! Just amazing! At 35% you can do everything. At 100% you are in day light.

Trail run up to Moab Rim and the lookout. Lots of ups and downs. The remnants of my cold are still in my chest and sinuses so has some issues breathing, but had a great time. Beautiful morning! It feels awesome to wear only shorts and t-shirt!

Mountain Biking 2:00:00 [3] 22.0 km (5:27 / km) +620m 4:47 / km

Today's ride was on Flat Pass (not a flat trail at all). Lots of really fun technical climbing and downhilling. Could feel the run in my legs from the morning, and had a bit of a bonk towards the end. Had some sort of sneeze attack for a while. Really weird. Must have been something in the air. Fun to ride with such a great group - Revy, C-Bass, Mike, James, Wakana and Lucas.
