A new type of interval to increase Mike's hiking speed. I joined in for the fun. 6 x 8 seconds with thee minutes rest in between. The idea is something like being fully recovered for each run.....but I don't remember the idea behind the short interval....will have to check in with Mike.
Road bike along the 1A. Steady E3 with high E4/MAP intervals. Greatl day with temps in the high 20s and the colours are turning a beautiful yellow.

Cory Pass loop scramble bricked with the bike ride. Nice fast pace up to the pass with a quick 5 min break at the top to enjoy the view. My legs felt a little tired on the hike.

Run in the Douglas Fir trail area. Tonight felt really hard for some reason. Just never found my flow. Almost felt like I was bonking even though I ate right before the run. Still managed a fairly good pace even though my average ended up being slightly lower than prescribed.
What else to do when you wake up at 4am due to jet lag? Got a good workout completed and I still have time for a relaxed breakfast.

Nice to be back into a structured workout and very nice to be back on my own bike. Beautiful day along the pathway and out of town and then back for a run.

Yikes, I put on 8 Ibs in Sweden! Crap, I knew I wouldn't get away with eating like that! But I just couldn't resist all the awesome food. I guess I have some work to do now to get back to my normal self....
Spent an hour at a gym in downtown Stockholm. Got through lots of good stuff.

Ran home from my sister's work with full pack. Good run. I felt a bit slow but our pace was still good. Last night here and then it is right back to work in Calgary (although not for long as we leave for Tassie soon).
