Running 2:00:00 [3] 15.0 km (8:00 / km) +395m 7:04 / km
shoes: Salomon Speedcross 3

Mud, snow, ice, mud and mud, but still a good and fun run. A bit slow going on many of the hills, even going down as we were slipping and sliding. Went from Edworth to COP via some ups and downs on the bluff looking for a trail that would bypass the rail road better. I think we found it as we ran around the worst of the tracks. Did the outermost loop of COP before heading back. My body is feeling good and next weekend I want to try a 3-4 hr run with some mountain hiking thrown in.

Running (Trail) 1:31:00 [3] 15.0 km (6:04 / km)

A jog in Fernie along various snow covered trails. The avalanche conditions were too high for our comfort so we altered the plans from skiing to running. At times pretty slow going as the snow was melting and we were sinking in a bit. My running is starting to feel more natural again. Fun to run with Lucy and Carbon's Offset...wished I could have joined in on the conversations more but when I try to talk too much while running I tend to stitch up.

Spinning 1:40:00 [4]

I felt awesome tonight! No pain at all in the sprain.

Most of the class was spent in E4.

Core work as part of spin class.

Running (Road) 1:15:00 [3] 14.3 km (5:15 / km) +150m 4:59 / km
shoes: Salomon Speedcross 3

Set out to do an easy road run, but I ended up feeling good so I decided to keep a higher tempo than planned. Might as well take advantage of it when it's there. I'm certainly not a STORM runner, but I felt good about my pace today. The roads and pathways were really wet and sloppy, but that made it more interesting. My sprain felt totally fine running which was a relief. Hopefully it won't be bad on the bike tomorrow night.

Spinning 1:00:00 [3]

Cut the spin class short by an hour to help a sprain that has re-occurred. Kept it mostly in low E3.

Note

Another great physio session. Havent't had to go in a while but with increased running times lately it was inevitable. The good news is that a lot of the work I have done in the past is still there so I have graduated to the next level of exercises. I'm now onto some more nerve stuff that I'm obviously lacking and I think if I can get that under control I should be able to control things better.
