Running (Ice mogul running) 1:30:00 [3] 15.0 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Salomon Speedcross 3
I have definitely discovered a new type of running. The whole city is covered in ice, and it's the kind of ice that you could easily skate on if it wasn't for the tiny mogul like bumps in it. My sister was dancing through it with her ice bugs. I decided right then and there to end my run at a store that sells ice bugs. I was slipping, sliding, falling and running like someone who had no idea what she was doing. Must have been an interesting site. On top of that we committed to a loop that we didn't easily turn back on. We kept thinking it would get better, but just over half way, it got worse. I wish I had brought my camera. Excitedly we arrived at the sport store after our "run" just to learn that all the good ice bugs were sold out. No wonder with these conditions! My hip flexors are a bit worn, but the 3 hrs spent in the roman style spa and swim hall in the afternoon helped....and so did the huge shrimp and gravlax lunch :)
Distance is an estimate based on my sisters GPS that didn't run for the full loop.
