Mountain Biking 3:55:55 [3] 44.5 km (5:18 / km) +2000m 4:20 / km

The elevation is a bit of a guess but probably close (between 1800 and 2000m for sure).

I felt way better than Thursday night. My tires had better pressure and the bike was less squirmy. I rode technically much better and cleaned a lot of things that I sometimes struggle with. Nice to have a solid ride with so much climbing.

CO, Mike and Bryan kept the day fun.

Elbow Valley-Sulphur Springs-Pneuma-Moosepackers-Ridgeback

This ride didn't start very well for me. My head was elsewhere and I felt completely 'off'. I fell behind on Pneuma, which is a climb I usually do well on. I didn't enjoy the top section of Pneuma which is very rocky with a drop down to Moosepackers that I wasn't able to master at all. I walked it. After a snack though I seemed to get some of my old self back and started riding well again, both up and down.

On the upside (and why my head was likely eslewhere), I received great news from my oncologists today, for the second time this year :) Time to find a huuuge chocolate cake to celebrate with.

It is so nice and hot out. I wish we had a nice lake to swim in around here. Maybe we should give the river a try, burrrrrrr.
