A race simulation on the computrainer with 5 hills, just the brief hill tops were flat, the course really was entirely up and down 5 hills.
Target was 100% FTP on the climbs, 60% on the downhills as recovery, and whatever you wanted on the flats. Climbing cadence target was 70-80 rpm.

The main objective of the evening was a 30 minute team event. Ride as far as you can in 30 minutes as a team. Through the set, we took turns running 30 seconds at MAP/AnP. It added up to 12 sets per person. In between the MAP intervals we stayed in high E3. Avg. watts: 199.

The team event ended in a tie so we had to do another 10 sets of MAP/AnP intervals at 30 sec each (30 seconds easy) to find a true winner. I managed 5.3km in this set despite very rubbery legs.

I stopped for a burger on the way home.
