Weights/Strength 20:00 [2]

Hoping to make this routine, but we'll see if I manage to stick to it. I did a number of different planks, abs work and some arms.

Running 55:00 [2]
shoes: Spikecross

This session was good for following Andy's recommendation for getting my running back on track. I slowed my pace way down through the whole run and instead of doing three sets of intervals, I just kept running at the same pace. This worked out well as I would catch up with the group in between sets. Thanks to Myka for talking me into going :)

Spinning 2:15:00 [4]

This session was a "team race" where we split the group into three teams and rode three time trials. The problem (at least to me) was that we were made to race at the same time as we were told to keep our watts in the sweet spot (border of E3/E4). When I time trial, I go higher than this so this approach was not good for my brain. While I was very happy with each of my results, they could have been a little higher (I think) if I had produced just a few watts higher, maybe mid E4. So you had to decide for yourself whether winning was more important than following the prescribed workout :)

Cross Country Skiing (Classic) 1:45:00 [2]

I was tired today and it was noticable in my skiing. XC sking is not very enjoyable when you are really tired, but still good to get out and move around. It was super pretty up by LL. Tried more skis in the Salomon Skin line but the dragging is a fact of the skin and not being on a particurlar flex or weight rated ski unfortunately. The ski has too much drag to be enjoyable. It jerks a lot and it's hard to get a nice flow.
