Yes, this is my favorite sport. And mountain biking of course.

A day out with CO, C-Bass, Revy and Atsuko.

Up the 3rd finger to the ridge and up to the peak of McPherson. Then down the back around and down a gulley into the bowl just next to the womb. Short climb up to go down another path which eventually fed into the womb. Excellent day. Still stable conditions which is nice.

Spinning 2:00:00 [3]

Back to the regular routine again. This was a high intensity session which I completely blew. I ended up riding E2 and E3 instead.

Backcountry Skiing 5:00:00 [3] +685m

Last day of the ATS2 course. Skied across the road from Vermillion Peak.

More actual work today. Trip planning, route finding, snow pack testing (still no results, but the full depth of the snow pack is faceting out now), multiple burial complex rescue scenario. I was happy with my route up (my turn to lead a large difficult chunk today, plus a bit more when other's got tired trail breaking). The rescue scenario also went really well. I was on search and got to the victims very quickly in tough terrain. I stayed on course and ignored the first signal which was outside my search area and into my companion's search area. Two victims were buried right next to each other which can make it confusing. The transceiver was good at keeping track of the four victims buried and once I used the "marked" feature on the transceiver it really minimized confusion around the two victims buried side by side.
