Wolf's pit.
Quite a foreboding name for a race, but it wasn't too bad! Started off quite fast and just wanted to see how long I could keep the pace up. Knew I was going to run out of steam; it was just a matter of when. Was dead after the first big climb and steadily dropped back through the field on the path on top. It was really sunny and pleasant to be up there so my legs decided they'd rather admire the scenery than push on. Had a renewed sense of urgency once we dropped back down and I could see Shatt-on again. Somehow managed to catch Nic up on the final climb and legged it as hard as I could down the through the fields towards the finish. Quite pleased my time since I was aiming for under an hour. Felt good on the ups and downs. Just need to get a bit of speed on the flat.

Got down a bit late and couldn't get over how many people had turned up this week... good stuff! Felt much more motivated than I did for last thursday's effort. Did parlaufs in a pair with Chris. Was going fairly well and didn't tire too much. Tough but enjoyable session.

Cruised around some hilly streets near ranmoor and up towards the golf course

Decided to do hills by myself today to make the most of my free afternoon.
5 x shore lane. Steep bit seemed less severe everytime I did it, though I was definitely getting more tired.
1.48, 1.54, 1.58, 1.54, 1.47
Bit quicker than the last time I did this I think. Doing buck all for the last few days can probably explain that!
