road ride 2:58:00 [4] 50.0 mi (3:34 / mi) +1500m 3:15 / mi

6:45am - 50 miles total- 25 miles up route 17 to route 32 and 25 miles back down. Took a 3 minute break at the Skunemuck (sp?) mountain trailhead. This time no flat tire to cut the ride short.
This is a great ride.. you are always either going up hill or going downhill. I dont think that there is more an a few hunder meters of flat at any point.
Traffic is light, scenery is pastoral, very few busy areas. A real 5 star ride.

mountain bike 3:00:00 [1] 10.0 mi (18:00 / mi)

Aleck, Anna, Elna and I rode out and back to lake Awosting up in the gunks. Got an excellent swim in. Water was cool but comfortable. Mountain biking was fast. The carriage roads are smooth and the only danger is if you miss a hair-pin turn and ride off a 100 foot cliff!
