xc skiing warm up/down 2:40:00 [1]
Pre race activity. Warmup/temp/cool down plus a few K's. Felt ok today. I did not feel like I had my total top gear but skied pretty well. Need to work on having a little faster start instead of skiing into speed.

Went to Crandall for a long skate session. got to HURT practice early and skied 15 K easy with a couple pickups. Then did another 25K (warmup, 3 x natural intervals - hard uphill sprints - drop down to very easy L1. cool down) Attacks felt really god and on hard fast conditions it was a lot of fun.

Classic SKi in Wilton. First real classic training session on high quality snow. Felt a little screwy first lap but then settled in a found some smoothness. Hard to keep downin level 1 and still have some semblance of technique.

Skate ski at Wilton. Conditions were awesome! The snow and grooming is perfect. I felt so great today and am really feeling confident about my for. Did a set of start intervals and felt really dialed in. trying to keep the volume high with selective intensity to keep progressing for a few more weeks.
