Sunday Nov 19 #

classic ski 30:00 [3] 4.0 km (7:30 / km)

Teaching L2T-OS at Sovereign Lake.

classic ski 1:25:00 [3] 17.0 km (5:00 / km)

Skiing at Sovereign after the L2T. A bit tired, but nice skiing nonetheless. Grip wasn't super solid. Walked quite a few climbs up to the summit.

Saturday Nov 18 #

skate ski 50:00 [3] 8.0 km (6:15 / km)

Teaching L2T-OS. Got a short ski at lunch time, plus the teaching components. Did a pre-race-ski of the 2.5 km loop as part of the session which was a good addition to the course.

Friday Nov 17 #

skate ski 1:03:00 [3] 15.0 km (4:12 / km)

Quick ski around trails at Sovereign Lake before the start of the L2T-OS.

Thursday Nov 16 #

run 1:10:00 [3] 8.3 km (8:26 / km)
shoes: speedcross16

Intervals with the Flamingos at S Canoe. Solid effort, 5x3 min zone 4. Was at about 160 bpm for most of the intervals (high zone 3 so not really hitting the target zone 4). Pretty wet and muddy on the road.

Wednesday Nov 15 #

run 30:00 [3] 4.0 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: speedcross16

Ski practice. Some easy running. Some good bounding drills. Games to finish.

Monday Nov 13 #

skate ski 2:40:00 [3] 33.0 km (4:51 / km)

Nice skiing at Sovereign Lake. A bit warm/damp/foggy, but otherwise nice skiing. They had gone out mid-morning to re-groom after snowfall in the morning, which was nice. First half with Keith and Laura, then did more on my own. Twice up to the summit, once up Lars Taylor and then up Aberdeen the 2nd time.
