Sunday Aug 18 #

bike 3:00:00 [3] 24.6 km (7:19 / km)
shoes: shimano16

Keystone Standard Basin with Abbi and Trond. Pretty challenging riding, lots of technical climbs and descents. But, fun fun. Wildflowers still out in force.

Saturday Aug 17 #

bike 1:30:00 [3] 12.0 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: shimano16

Biking at Mt Cartier in Revelstoke with Abbi and Trond. Sunnyside Up and Haulin'daze, 2 loops. Really fun trails, downhill was especially fun with lots of berms and jumps but also some more technical steeps.

Friday Aug 16 #

bike 2:00:00 [3] 19.7 km (6:05 / km)
shoes: shimano16

Morning ride at Predator Ridge with Abbi after dropping Ray at the airport. Fun riding, Ellison Connector, Ridge Trail, Mantle/Granite, Ridge Trail. Really enjoyed the Mantle/Ridge combo.

Thursday Aug 15 #

run 50:00 [3] 6.0 km (8:20 / km)
shoes: speedcross19 (blue/red)

Run at Park Hill. Just a nice, steady z1 run.

paddle 40:00 [3] 4.0 km (10:00 / km)

Paddle across the lake and back from Canoe Beach. Kids were happy with that, and a swim on the far side.

Wednesday Aug 14 #

hike 2:00:00 [3] 8.0 km (15:00 / km)
shoes: speedcross19 (blue/red)

Hike up Eagle Pass Mtn with Ray. Forecast was for mix of sun and cloud, so we optimistically left our raincoats in the car ... mistake! Was nice for the first hour or so, then pelted down rain and hail as we got out into the alpine. Thankfully, by the time we reached the summit, the rain cleared out and we had great views and sunshine. Was nice enough on the way down and we stopped for a second snack in the meadow before heading back to the car. Road was in decent shape, but it does get rough in sections and also has some pretty deep water bars - glad to have the Xterra.

Tuesday Aug 13 #

roller ski 1:30:00 [3] 19.9 km (4:31 / km)

Skate roller skiing at Carlin. Did 10 x 1 min z4. Good hard effort, don't think I get into Z4 over that short an interval though. Super nice skiing on the new pavement on Notch Hill Rd.

Monday Aug 12 #

bike 1:45:00 [3] 15.0 km (7:00 / km)
shoes: shimano16

After-work ride with Rob and Dave. Nice riding. Went up to Coffee Time.
