Skiing at Sovereign Lake. About 30 min of wax-testing before the races (6 km), then a 2 hour ski (19 km) with Abbi afterward. Started with pretty hard tracks, then a bit of fresh snow during the races. Tracks were pretty filled in at times during our ski later on.
First ski of the year at Larch Hills. Pretty good skiing, given the very thin snow. Conditions were better and better going higher up. They've done lots of great work with the smaller groomers. Still rough/rutted in spots, but lots of pretty decent skiing to be found.

Ski practice at S Broadview. Easy warm-up, some drills, easy run around Little Mtn, then some plyometrics at the field. Kids were dragging on the running portion - didn't seem motivated to push at all.

Ski-striding intervals at S Canoe. Enduro "race" with Rob, at the tail end of the kids. Pretty flat loop for ski-striding, so mix of running and striding. Didn't push too hard, but good to crank it a bit.

Afternoon ride. Caught the last of the daylight (maybe 20 minutes), then rode with the lights. Feeling good enough to ride, but was still coughing a bit and nose was running pretty well. Very nice to get out for a bit of exercise, even if it was relatively short and easy intensity.
