Ran Cedar Valley Nature Trail north of town, through fields and strips of woodland damaged by last month's derecho. Felt like a fast pace to me.
Came upon a mother pushing her new bike with her son in an attached trailer. The sun had set and she had a few more miles to go, with the chain tightly wedged between chain rings. Took me 15 minutes to untwist it, by the light of her phone. She said many (Iowa) bikers had ridden past her, with one even yelling at her. So +1 for Minnesota.
