Ran a dirt loop South Valley Park. Then in North Valley Park, I was hoping to pick up a trail where there was none, and so I had to bushwhack my way out to the road. Ended up being the wrong road. Finally got my way to Lions Park, through the tunnel, and to Salem Hills for a full loop. Heat was 88 by my finish.

Family ride up the river, after the heat relented. Nice and quiet with few people out, and long shadows shading us. River road opens to cars Monday morning.
Down the parkway, up the river road, and across Franklin Bridge. Took 15 minutes to explore the ravine near St. Thomas, and connected trails. Don't understand why I never did this before, as it is more scenic than Hidden Falls. Maybe it was the pot heads usually hanging out here that discouraged me?
