MOV 2011 - Venice - Men-A.

Quite flawless race, although I wasn't running very fast to my feeling. But no search actions, hardly any stops. Great weather, especially after the race it was rather warm in the sun.

Made some small mistakes at 1 (2x dead alley), 7 (confusions in the park). Then already I started to feel quite tired and was worried how the rest of the race was going to be, towards 11 I had to walk up the main bridge (and not because of the crowd). However after 11 it went surprisingly better and I could run the same bridge a bit later. Small routechoice mistakes while leaving 13 and 15 and a few meters too much towards 16 and 20. Sounds like many mistakes but they were all very small. Altogether like 90s I think. Splitbrowser confirmed that.

Altogether I ran about 15,5 km, which makes just over 10km/h including all the map reading, crowd avoiding and the bridges. Obviously satisfied with the result.

I liked the coursesetting better than last year although it was a bit up-and-downish from time to time (like running along the railwaystation 3 times)
