Cycle - MTB (Mont Marie) 2:15:00 [3] 30.0 km (13.3 kph)
shoes: MTB - Camber Comp

GPS battery died after 1'10'' so rough est of distance. Went mid day so really warm. saw another troop of baboons in Eden which is always a highlight for me. Went straight through to Mont Marie then down the single track (awesome), back to Eden and down the track there, then via G-Spot and down the challenge line there and then via part of Coetzenburg XC track and back. Really lekker ride and all for free (or voluntary donation) to STB trail fund, will donate for this for sure. Getting there on the confidence/ tech sections. now dreaming of the double black routes but best I stay away...

Cycle - MTB 1:10:00 [3] 14.5 km (12.4 kph) +375m
shoes: MTB - Camber Comp

To Eden and back via G-spot challenge line for the first time (not too tough but not as flowing as the easier line) and the usual part of Coetzenburg XC track.

Road Run (Moore Stephens 10km) 58:00 [3] 10.3 km (5:38 / km) +68m 5:27 / km
shoes: Asics gel nimbus 14 grey

Decided against a 3rd straight 10km "racing"personal slowest and rather did a pacing run for a colleague who wanted to go under 60min. Was definitely the right call and way more fun. Got her there in 51:45, no thanks to the lead car missing a nice chunck of the route so only 8.8km. I knew at the time where we had gone wrong just before 4km, pretty stupid mistake but not the firs time I've experienced that which is pretty poor considering how easy it is for organisers to make sure the route is planned into the gps fo the lead car or a compatant map reader is next to the driver, or the driver actually is someone who knows the route etc etc etc... anyway, it was a lekker run though disappointing for those going for a time. Made up for the shortfall by running to and from event.
