Run 27:45 [3] 5.2 km (5:20 / km)

I was just intending to do a very easy jog for about 1-1.5 km down to the bakery similar to yesterday but when I got there I felt fine and didn't want to stop. I kept going through Jindalee up and down some hills back to the bakery and still felt fine so I went a bit further up Marmion ave and back.
Nice easy pace never really feeling out of breath or sore/tired in the legs.
Ended up being my longest run for a long time.

Yoga 35:00 [1]

Feeling good after my run I followed it up with some yoga to stretch out all those tight muscles. Lily and Chloe joined in for a while, able to stretch twice as far as I can on most of the poses.

Paddle (River) 2:48:00 [3] 21.5 km (7:49 / km)
ahr:128 max:162

Paddle with stevej and matsiv from middle swan bridge to Amiens and back.
Some very shallow sections felt like paddling through porridge. Once in the tee trees we had a few tight turns and logs to go over and I had an altercation with one of the tee trees leaving me wet and with some scratches on my right arm and a nice lump on my right shin. Good to have a more scenic paddle and more of an adventure than the usual downstream paddle.

Run warm up/down 10:00 [2] 1.6 km (6:15 / km)

Very easy run during a walk to the shops just to get a feel for the hamstring.
No pain or tightness. Basically a warm up with nothing to follow.

Orienteering race (Nav Dash) 38:40 [1] ** 3.3 km (11:43 / km)
spiked:17/17c shoes: Keen Ridgeline

Not risking the hamstring today so I had my youngest daughter Chloe (6 yrs) with me.
Was a bit worried when she wanted to do a warm up lap after seeing everyone else jogging around the oval.
No navigation problems today, just an easy walk with some very slow jogging when Chloe wanted to run (and a short stint of her on my shoulders).
Very proud of her effort as no complaints and she was eager for more after the race. She was even able to show me on the map where the car was parked. It was funny seeing the same people running past us a few times after making mistakes.
I don't think to many 6yr olds would have beaten her today.

Paddle intervals 1:04:54 [3] 6.0 km (10:49 / km)
ahr:135 max:177 (injured) shoes: Endorfinn Ski

Paddle at Hillarys with stevej, matsiv and Liz.
3 x 800m races around marina. 1st I had about 60m start on Matt and 90 on Steve and managed to hold them off. 2nd Matt and myself had 60m on Steve, finished just behind Matt and ahead of Steve. 3rd Matt and I had about 2 boat lengths on Steve, at the second corner I politely refused his request to pass on the inside and we ended up both having to stop and restart after a slight bump. After that I watched Steve try in vain to catch Matt down the last straight but he put in a super effort.
Turning is improving ( it has to when the alternative is to hit boats or the rocks) and I am happy to be within 60m over an 800m distance against the PRS.

Swim 45:00 [3] 1.2 km (37:30 / km)
(injured)

Decided to swim instead of paddle today as it would be better for my hamstring. Just easy freestyle with a few hundred with the pullbouy.

Yoga 35:00 [2]

Easing off when hamstring felt a bit tender.

Windtrainer 30:00 [3]

Another easy session.

Note
(injured)

Able to walk without a limp today, hamstring only sore if I poke it.
Enough with the RICE, Stretch/Strength to start tomorrow.
