Run (Trail) 1:25:00 [3] 15.0 km (5:40 / km) +150m 5:24 / km
shoes: Hoka One One Stinson Evo's

I had originally planned to go for a paddle after a morning family party to celebrate a niece's 1st birthday. A late change of plans to fit in some furniture shopping after the party and instead of paddlingI took my running gear, had Deb & the girls drop me off in Joondalup and I ran home. Trails all the way except for the last 1.5km.
Party sausage rolls and cupcakes do not make the best fuel for a run.
I felt a bit sluggish after about 45minute & took a few walk breaks on some of the hills.
Nice afternoon for running. Quite a few MTB riders on the trail between Burns Beach rd and Hest Ave but I had the rest of the trails all to myself.

Note

I had big plans today with a day off. Was going to sleep in, then to and see Chloe get an honour certificate at school before heading up into the hills for a nice long run, followed by a cruisy MTB ride.
Unfortunately Deb came in while i was lying in bed planning my day to tell me that Lily had to stay home from school as she had conjunctivitis.
Oh well, at least I had a bit of a sleep in. I still got to se Chloe at school, before taking Lily to the doctor.
Staying home with Lily I decided against a long run on the treadmill and instead we spent the day watching tv, playing Xbox, & making focaccia.
I waited until Deb was home before doing any exercise.
Still a good way to spend a day off.

Run (Treadmill) 25:00 [3]
shoes: Hoka One One Stinson Evo's

I decide to do an indoor brick sessin rather than a longer run or windtrainer.
First up a short warm up on the treadmill before 20 minutes of steady running at a 6:00min/km pace on a 6% incline.
Started out nice & easy but nice and fatigued by the end.
No cool down, just a quick walk to the torture chamber, change of shoes and onto the windtrainer.

Windtrainer (Sufferfest) 35:00 [4]
shoes: Giant TCR C2

Rather than another gradual build I decided to do the Sufferfest Revolver video. I skipped through most of the warm up and did a couple of the medium effort builds before getting stuck into the main set, which is supposed to be 16 x 1 min all out, 1 min recovery. I didn't expect to get through all 16 reps as my legs where already pretty tired.
I managed to get through 9 reps before a gentle spin for about 10 minutes to cool down.
I felt a bit light headed had very tired legs after getting off the bike.
This felt like a very productive hours exercise after a pretty cruisy day.

Pilates 45:00 [3]

2nd of 4 weekly Pilates sessions.
This one turned out to be quite a bit harder than last week.
Most of the exercises seemed very basic but became very hard as the reps built up.
