Note

Had a sucessful job interview today at West Cumberland Hospital for a Band 6 Physiotherapist Planned Movement position. It's basically 6 month senior rotations and there is a big team of Physios to work with. Looking forward to it.
Will probably be moving to Whitehaven (where Neil Kerrison was!) in a month or so.
One of my interviewers was an Aussie guy who does a bit of tri, orienteering and fell running. He said there are a few in the team that are into that sort of thing. Great stuff.
8 PM

Cycling (Stationary) 30:00 [3]
slept:7.0

Over 170rpm.
Quads almost feeling normal again. L) calf a bit tight today.
Had a good chat about Le Tour with the older cyclist gym worker.

Running long (Fell) 2:10:00 [2]
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212 (old)

Ambleside club run. Kentmere. Was a little late to the meeting point so didn't have time to do up the shoes until we were on he run! I was given the option of going over something or with another group that would go around. I said I wouldn't mind a sedate run over. Ran with Rich Talbot, Anna Forrest, Kate Ayres and Dom the dog.
I realised an hour later that I hadn't had time to work out what the plan was for the route... Turns out we were doing the Kentmere Horseshoe (minus the little bit out to High Street).
Good views of Windermere, Hawes Water and the hills all around Kentmere.
Painful quads, really painful on the downhills. No massive fatigue though.
L) calf tightened up over the last half hour.
