Running race (Road) 20:46 [5] 5.8 km (3:35 / km) +65m 3:23 / km
shoes: Nike Lunar Montreal+

Southern 6 Stage Road Relays, leg 5 for TVH B team.
Went alright. After the first hill I had a guy on my shoulder for the rest of the way. A loud breathing short guy from Belgrave called Ben. He tried to get past me slightly during the second lap but I had paced it well enough to push a bit more. As we came onto the home straight of Crystal Palace track he kicked past me but I got my nose in front in the final 5m. Shame he started the leg about 25m behind me! Had to go very deep in the final km to hold him off so it was great that neither hamstring 'went'.
Hilliest road relays I've ever done! Got a big blister on lat edge of L foot as a result.
Calculations suggest this hilly 5.8km is worth a flat 5km at about 17 mins.
