Fun loop at Murphey with Biz. The trail was in nice shape despite the below freezing temps.

Biz and I went out Strava hunting after our bike, and decided to attack a huge series of hills on the north side of Murphey. That place has really steep hills. There was an STS van out there, I think they should concentrate huge amounts of STS work on Buckthorn, that park would be awesome if it were open running. We did manage to find the seg and take the top two spots, sweet.

Turkey Burner! So cold, such big wind. The hardest Turkey Burner to date? Certainly the coldest. It was made much more bearable and safe with the well laid out plan and the sag wagon support vehicles. Great stuff from our hardy band of fools!

Great MTN bike ride with Mike C, Julia, Curtis, Wentzel, MoBiz, Rick-O and Ian! Plenty long, as my legs were tired by the time we arrived at Davanni's for the some DELICIOUS deep dish za. Oh boy was that a treat.

CX race at lake rebecca. So painful! Great time, felt great afterward. Biz used Kelly's cx bike and passed me on the 3rd lap and I could not catch back up to him. 7th for Biz and 11th for me out of 37, a good sunny Saturday.

Cold cold night for the Veteran's-O. Fun time out there though! Had a pretty good run despite feeling the day's prior effort in the legs from the start. Bummed that it's the last of the season. We'll have to get out for some OTNT's now. Let's get it going!

Speed work with Kelly around Nokomis. She was doing one 6 minute mile followed by a 5:30 minute mile, then 4 minutes rest, repeat 3X. I tried to do the 6 minute miles with her, but I could not do them all. Still felt last weekend's 10 mile effort in my legs. At least I got out and tried! I got a 10k done in the end.

Great road race today around White Bear Lake. Kelly crushed it in 58:57 (2nd) biz 6th in 1:06:20, me in 8th overall at 1:07:50. Likely my best road race ever. Great day for racing!
