Red course at Willow River went well, in terms of navigation. I ran slowly, I am in bad running shape, the worst I have been in for years and years. It hurts to try to speed up. It did help the navigation it seems, only a few one minute bobbles. Including a two minute "oh ok I suppose I should go grab my compass" decision after I had already started the course. I'm feeling much less competitive these days. I regret that, but not enough to run through the pain my back gives me when I really push it.
