Running 1:54:00 [3] 12.3 mi (9:16 / mi)

Windy half marathon from wayzata to excelsior. I can't believe how many people put sticker on the back of their car for doing these. Ran this one with my buddy Ben, an old friend who wanted some support/someone to talk to.

It was windy--I would not have wanted to be doing the ironman bike ride today. (was the brute today too I believe?) I wish I could say I would have done it Wentzel, but you're off the hook. It was pretty nasty this morning.

Cycling 4:00:00 [3] 54.0 mi (13.5 mph)

Tough riding in the wind and rain to and from lake Elmo. Good training for atomic and the wild, wet and wonderful though. Half marathon tomorrow, I'm feeling pretty strong in general.

orienteering 1:04:00 [5] 8.0 km (8:00 / km)

After a good start, i spent 17 minutes finding CPs 3 and 4. Spent too much time looking at the real world and not enough at the map, a common mistake of mine. Legs loosened up soon after and had a good race from there. I really had a blast. That open field out at lake Elmo is unique, I felt like I was racing out of state or something. Really fun, great course.

Exercise Bike 1:00:00 [4]

Hit the studio for a spin class after everyone got soft on me. I guess I am soft too considering I didn't buck up and get outside. It was nice to have a good indoor option tonight. Good class.
