Spin class at CycleQuest Studios. Felt pretty good, I think the novelty is always a good thing -- this was my first time back this season. I hope to get in a bunch more before the Almonzo - last year was really painful for me.

Power Dome. Biz came with this time. Pete, remembered you wanted to come too late, sorry I didn't remind you!

One and one half mile warm up.

Two miles 6:20, 6:40.

Half mile cool down.

Two miles 6:45, then 6:30.

Half mile cool down.

Felt pretty good at this point.

Then four miles at 6:53 per mile. That hurt. Getting over 10 miles with all but a few laps at under 7 minute/mile was painful. Hopefully it's worth it. Biz had blisters and a sore knee afterward, I had really tired calves, and generally beat up. Great workout to get under my belt even if it was a bit too soon after the Birkie.

My HR monitor says I was above 170 the whole time, if that's right, then my body was working really hard. Yikes.

Delicious Chipotle afterward and Molly made an appearance during her hellish week of legislative torture. Hopefully she survives until Friday night when we party down.
