Looking back over the courses from this past weekend, it's clear that my navigation was appallingly bad, rather than that I was moving that slowly. Route choices were poor, execution was sometimes terrible. The only positive thing I can find to say is that I never got to a spot where I didn't know where I was and had to relocate (though on numerous occasions I reaized where I was, and it wasn't where I had intended to be). I think this is all the result of mental laziness, which you can only get away with when you're really in practice.

QOC A-meet, Granite, Blue. Another pretty poor run. The number of "spikes" is misleading, because some of those were via poor route choices. Probably better than yesterday, but maybe not by much.
