Mt. Norwottuck score-O. Beautiful crisp day, nice course, and some really lame orienteering on the part of yours truly. Without going too deeply into the details, there were two occasions when I found a control, but it wasn't the one I was expecting to find. That gives the flavor of what a great job I was doing out there. There was once when I had absolutely no idea where I was for a while and wondered if I might be off the map, and a couple of other times when, if I had to draw a circle on the map showing my location, it would have been a pretty big circle. A couple of the nine misses were small, but several were substantial. It's a miracle that I did as well as I did, considering, and I wasn't moving very fast at the end, either. At least I managed my time well.

Carrying one end of my hang glider up to the Skinner launch, with the other end and the harness bag carried by Dean Sturtevant and Ken Walker Sr. Great flying conditions, a little chilly, but not at all bad for late November. Time is a guess, I forgot to stop the watch until I was halfway through setting up the glider.
