Note

Got some mail indicating that, contrary to what I had expected, I apparently don't have a tumor. So much for self-diagnosis based on information from the internet. Still four more trips to the doctor before I'll be caught up with not having been to the doctor for about 35 years (including one to further investigate the symptoms that suggested a tumor). And so far, so good.

orienteering race 1:27:10 [3] *** 7.9 km (11:02 / km) +246m 9:33 / km
spiked:14/17c shoes: GoLite Blaze Lite

Baldwin Hill, Red, 6.2 km. No huge errors, the oopses were #9 (went a little too far north, less than 100m, then turned around), #10 (took the trail E of the lake, then coming in across the vague stuff I wasn't positive where I was when I hit the hillside, and initially turned left instead of right, though I was really close), and #16 (didn't climb steeply enough, and hit the trail N of where I needed to be). None of these were too bad, and at least I went from #5 to #6 instead of #5 to #9. And I was ahead of some notables like Alar and Clint, but got clobbered by Jeff and Glen, among others.
