alpine skiing 3:48:39 [0]

Sunapee, with Nancy. 13 runs -- forgot the GPS watch, but I took splits with my regular watch to count. Rode almost every lift, including the longest magic carpet but skipping the two short ones for preschoolers. Not too crowded, snow cover pretty good, the only place where we had annoying waits was on the South Peak lift, which kept stopping so that the lift line was slow and so was the ride (the adaptive ski program was there, but that did not seem to be the cause of the delays -- it may have been that the inept beginners were there as well, snowboarders doing face plants). A little break up top after the 11th lift ride to split a bottle of water and a cookie.

Stratton, with Nancy. Started at about 11 AM, I think. Seven runs before stopping for a break.

alpine skiing 1:59:52 [0] 24.94 km (4:48 / km) +2794m 3:05 / km

And then nine more (though this included a trip up the magic carpet). Hit every lift on the mountain (except I think one other tiny magic carpet), and did a few of them more than once. And we skied quite a bit of the mountain as well. Watch ran out of juice just before the end of the last run (we split up for that one so I could do a double black, which was fairly steep and a little icy but otherwise unremarkable). Best day of skiing so far this season, temps quite comfortable, conditions pretty good though getting a little icy at the end of the day (there's not a lot of snow), and really no lift lines (in the afternoon, I suspect it cleared out because of the Patriots game, which we watched the second half of in a restaurant). Home at a reasonable hour.
