Lily May's first orienteering! I ran brown in distinctly rusty fashion, and em took lily out on the orange while my parents ran blue. Lovely day.
Felt tired which is not surprising with interrupted sleep and heavy weights/park run on the previous two days.
Lost time in q big chunks (especially #1, #3 and #10) where the veg was no help at all. The right technique here was to find an attackpoint and go in carefully ignoring all mapped and unmapped veg as it was only a distraction, but it took me a long while to cotton on and even then I was not confident.

lovely setting, the same area where I ran a 5 mile a few weeks ago. not the fastest course though with a bit of hill and all off-road.
no watch so I ran to feel looking for a nice tempo pace.
