Orienteering 59:30 [3] 8.1 km (7:21 / km) +80m 7:00 / km
shoes: Icebug (iii)

Epping Forest
52 mins for the first 8k and then 7 for the last 0.1k!
I found the last control just really difficult to attack. It seemed a bit far right compared with some features. There was an element of madness in what I was doing though, attacking on the same lines and getting the same result. Think I could have worked out logically where it had to be quite a bit quicker than I did.
Another mistake where I got myself turned 90 degrees and thought "odd that that pond is hidden by a ridge" instead of "there is no ridge on the map and I am not by the pond".
Other than that I was alright apart from feeling a tad sluggish.

Wheathampstead and luton line acceleration
Bit disappointed, had to work hard for just hovering around 4:00/km. But q a few mitigating factors, and it was 40-45 mins of good hard work

rough couple of days at work, and the 4 hour journey home on tuesday took out any chance of a run
