Steady loop around Luton. Mostly roads I know but also went out to harlington and sundon hills, both nice.
Climbed about as much as I could but still only about a third of what we’ll do in the last 100km of l’etape in a month or so! Hopefully the roads will be smoother then though.

HH nomansland common
Felt motivated to try and run fast. Nice arepa with a couple of little fiddly bits in amongst the quick path running, and I kept my concentration well.

Off-road running warm up/down 20:00 [1] 3.5 km (5:43 / km)

Pentire point out & back
One of my favourite routes. Felt pretty strong uphill, still not quite moving freely so downhill was a bit trickier but ok.

Out to the western fringes of Bodmin moor
Slow going for all except a couple of stints around Harpur’s Downs. Everything else was steep or windy or gravelly. But really enjoyable.
Found a great rollercoaster dead end road to Roughtor, 20m steep down and back up again on a quiet straight road with good visibility. Fun little detour.
