MTN Bike (MootoX) 1:00:00 [3] 9.0 mi (9.0 mph)

quick ride w/ Monique and Luke UP to twin lakes, lake trail down Juniper. Love that trail. Almost passed out at one stop.

Road Bike (B2) 1:37:00 [3] 45.23 mi (28.0 mph) +1103ft

TT ride right after mtb ride - Mammy to Bishop

Solid pushing up the hills and dropped chain on 2nd to last climb before RockCreek (40min_18.6mi_28mph_240watts)
RockCreek to Paradise (18:16_11mi_36mph_171watts) max @ 49mph
Last big push was right before the main drop into the bishop bend and then IM pace down and through Bishop(28min_12mi_25mph_208watts).

Legs felt solid and zero issues w/ feet/ankles but I had a popping in my left foot?? A tendon from my butt, ham through my calf and on the top of my foot. Strange? No pain but consistent when pushing hard or standing - that is when I backed off to IM pace.

233norm, 1,188kJ

---note -
no issues after the ride - walking normal

Running (Montrail H2) 15:00 [3] 1.38 mi (10:52 / mi)

easy run on Brisleys T-Mill. Make or break feel. Running pretty much normal but did not push it and still feeling ankles.

MTN Bike (Mootox) 3:30:00 [3] 21.0 mi (6.0 mph)

perfect day on the mountain with the crew. hit a few tails I have never been on before and technical skills are at a lifetime best. Kept it at
steady all day and zero issues with foot/ankle. Super fun day, trails, people.

Trek (Adidas) 1:00:00 [1] 3.0 mi (20:00 / mi)
(injured)

Night hike w/ the crew from the condo UP Juniper and over to the beer festival. Walking totally normal for the first time today and no issues in L foot. dancing across the golf courses and off trail

Walked w/out a flashlight and off trail to cut to the concert. THEN when we got to the concert...in full light...on the frickin road I step on the only rock in the road and hit the floor. Snapped my RIGHT ankle. WTF! Pulling the plug

Road Bike (B2) 1:21:55 [3] 22.39 mi (16.4 mph) +2212ft

TT ride up from RockCreek to Mammoth after the shuttle for the team. Nice bike lane and then my own lane due to construction. Rolling into mammy with the storming clouds, ipod blasting and legs pumping was a bit of nirvana

Easy start and kept is steady until the last climbs - Negative split 213avg/258avg for the 2nd half then spin to the condo for cooldown

227norm, 1001kJ

Swim (Mammy) 40:00 [3] 1.3 mi (30:46 / mi)

we have THE condo w/ access to the only gym in mammy. S S Stoked. Quick swim right after ride. Swimming at altitude is HARD

400WU, 2 X (200,300,400), 200CD = 2,400yds

pool is a bit short of 25yds

Note

Walking with pressure on foot and only slight pain/limp when taking long strides. Tip of toe joints. Did a baby run in the pool after and then in the BB court and running is fine if the weight stays on my heels. Couple more days until a real run just to make sure.

Swim (HB-HS) 50:00 [2] 1.0 mi (50:01 / mi)
weight:157lbs

Road Bike (B2) 3:28:30 [3] 63.31 mi (18.2 mph)

Loads of sleep and rest is GOOOD. Woke up @ 5am and zero issues with foot. Very slight pressure but no pain. Started ride/morning w/ pad but dropped it and put in sole insoles. walking normal today

Rolled out w/ Monique down PCH, Backbay then SanJH, NC, Marg - then two more loops of that working on "steady"

Legs, body, mind feel better than ever holding a steady pace - (~300-350w on climbs w/ no loading in legs/breath, etc - a few short pushes over 400w but NO SPIKES!)

1 bottle h2o, 1 bottle heed. Felt like an easy 30 miles.

216norm, 2039kJ
