Warmup and 1mi swim for SB tri - drafting @ easy pace 85% of the way. Official time 26:11

SB Tri - TT -Got the negative split I was looking for. Hard to gauge w/ the hills but pushed harder the 2nd half. Could have gone out a bit faster - love that course and perfect temps.

1:32min - 264watts norm, 246avg, 807max - 22mph

1st 45min - 246watts norm, 233avg, 581max - 21.1mph
2nd 45min - 278watts norm, 261avg, 807max - 23.1mph

Thur killed my shins - decided BEFORE the race that I was not going to do the run. Just started running again and to risky for 10miles -played it safe and just ran to 1st aid station and jog back. Legs felt really good surprisingly for not letting up on the bike but I am glad that I didnt run 9 more miles

Did not plan on a rest day - Lump is back in foot and thought it was from bike shoes (next day is always bad after bike shoes) but maybe calf muscles (8/24) and the lack of discipline to hold on to an entire rest week. Last night run just wrecked all of us...gave me shin splints in L leg and caused me to skip the run @ the tri - SELF CONTROL

Planned on a swim but super busy/crazy @ work w/ TAIS changs and enXco draft - drove out late night to SB for tri and way behind on sleep.

El Moro- Sat in parking lot on bike seat for over an hour on a con-call then dropped down fence line (saw Joe Westa and Rick?) and just rolled the ridge down to the front - not motivated but the spider makes me happy. Called M for a ride back to the truck.

Rigid fork on the spider blew my mind - I am really loving this bike

CDM swim w/ M, Keevin and Clancy - This was fun. Good day w/ 50+ groupers bopping around. One out and back and one square before some bottom samples. THIS is the good old days revisit. Perfect!

Got talked into a run w/ the boys. Glad I went even if I am blown and got shin splints in my L leg. Sunset was on spot and nice little run out and back. Repeat session is a must very soon. Keevin is back!!! . . . and he is fast!

slammed at work in low on the motivation. No nap and up at about 2-3am to bed after 1am. Behind on sleep. Change of plans a few times - decided to drop the swim and M and I just rode the beach loop w/ tailwind down PCH. Nice and easy -cap on 200w efforts.

did NOT want to run but lucky M got me going. Two easy laps @ Quail hill. Good place to run some pace practice. First lap 19min, Second lap 16min. Felt better after but still pulled the plug on the swim today. Need a nap or three
