morning swim technique so I thought it would be mellow but got out before the mock races started. Taking caution with the increase in swim volume and still a little sick. Wore Blue70 speed suit today. Awesome! Really does work and feels like silk with the SkinFit under it.

GMR ride w/ Moni and Jhar. Legs/body were not feeling awesome and still a little sinus issue but this is the last day in the 14 day block. Perfect loop w/ about 1hr warm up to the climb. Tried Vitargo mix with 3 scoops (840calories) and waited until the climb to slam the entire bottle. EIGHTHUNDREDFOURTY Calories in 30min at threshold HR and then I did feel awesome. Stoked to PR the climb even with this fatigue(still no new CP PRs). Last best gate to gate was 50min after a rest week. Today

Started feeling better as ride progressed and still need some work on standing so I pushed out 10x30sec standing on 1min RI on the way back(after 2hr30min). First 5 over 400watts last 5 over 500watts. Painful and just enough RI to get breathing back before the next. Stoked on a solid block. Rest time!

had to cut last set from age groupers. Hard/challenging swim but kept good form and got into a great pace. Headed up lane and really felt MS after pull set but stoked to keep it going. Rest is in order.

Quail Hill LT Brick. Awesome session - hardest best quality all year. Glad I didnt do it yesterday and was rested/fresh today. Challenging to complete but kept good form and nailed pacing better than ever. Warmup w/ run down to Turtle Rock and CD on bike. MS - 2 rounds of 3 laps bike, 1 lap run.

lunch -mid 70's -Skinfit suit rocks - Running feels so good.

Feeling throat dry/sick the last couple of days...Q3 reviews at work today. So glad that I did swim. Warmup and then IT happened. ADAPTATION!! Got through 400's all aerobic. 100's on 1'30" AEROBIC. Moved up to lead out the lane holding all sub 1'10" on 100's in aerobic zone. Felt easy and focused on form. Stoked! Just starting to feel the swim and run come around. Too bad it is October! ;-)

V02 Combo Workout

Hardest and highest quality workout all year. Perfect little setup and workout. 1bottle h20, 1bottle vitargo. Felt fresh and rested going in and great execution and recovery. didnt get a negative split on the sets because I went to hard on the first round but I have a better grasp for pace/effort now.
