Todays ride made yesterday feel like a ride along the beach... Started a bit faster w/ the crew and split the group @ back bay.

I split off out the canyon and down Chapman. Got lost trying to find the bike path and headed back on Katella that turned into the canyon again. Aliso bike path down to Al Woods park (sucks but better than the road/lights) and PCH at Salt creek up to Warner/home. 7:46 ride time / 9:30 total.

Two 2 scoop vitargo bottles, 2 nuun, 2 h20, 1.5 powerbars, 1 green bar, 1 bag blocks, school boy breakfast at mile 115. (2eggs,2pancakes,fruit,potatoes,fruit,wheat toast)

Stoked to have SOLID energy/power all day. Peak 60min was at 5hr 15min into the ride(181/202norm). I planned to slow it up PCH on the way back but my legs were just in a groove.

Biggest ride yet w/ the PTap but I still think i had more "work" on the Haleakala climb. previous was 3,715kJ on 7/11 tour de oc w/ Sean,Ryan,Jhar -

First time going over 300miles in a week (342) and previous was 220miles in the week of 7/11

T run after ride. Slammed a 3 scoop V and put 2 scoops in a flask for the run. Was going to start slow and see how the legs felt but I felt "steady' right out of the door. Not fast but steady the entire time and only stopped when I had to for red lights. Amazing how easy it is not to stop when the pace is right. Didnt feel like I rode 100+ miles today at all.

Home, gothard, park over to GW, horse trails out to Garfield and back over to Gothard to Edinger. Felt like I could run all night but 6 miles is a long run for me. Big weekend Rest is in order.

Halloween ride with the crew down to SD. Always a good time! Spider kept me honest on the work effort. Great group and cut 2hrs off our time w/ less stops and no crushed dreams along the way

Easy pace run after ride up the path to Cooks corner and back into the dark. Pace felt so nice and could have ran all night. Hip is a-ok. Just some pain from the bouncing but feels "all on the surface" now.

Nice walk along Makena beach, spooky forest and black beach before the flight home. Not sleeping more than 3hrs the last few nights. Caffeine is a drug! Still cannot run yet but no limp. Legs are feeling good and not sore from yesterday.

Had no idea about what we were set out to do. Epic day. Kept it right around upper steady and 150 felt like all day pace. 7.5hrs climbing 4 x ~50min each w/ 4x 5-10min breaks. Felt solid and very little decoupling

Easy swim between naps on the South and West shores. A few good steady efforts. Neck and left side still really jacked but head is much better.

Nice hike before sunset. Easy pace but lots of climbing. Hip started getting better but I still felt like I had a dead leg for most of the hike. Paradise all around
