MTN Bike 1:30:00 [2] 10.0 mi (6.7 mph)

woke up early (still not getting solid sleep-stressed from work and still unpacking) to meet Walshes at Xterra trail run in El Moro. Easy spinning around and watching James crush it on one of the best summer days I have ever seen in Dec.

Ate crap on one of the downhills jumping in front of James and got the wind knocked out of me. Ribs and R hip are swollen pretty bad. R arm gave my shoulder enough of a jab to bug my shoulder after the problem at UM swim. Lame move.

Quads still feeling really sore but only part of legs. Feel it touching and walking.

Trek 2:38:43 [2] 7.94 mi (19:59 / mi) +3000ft 14:43 / mi
shoes: Salomon 3D

slow morning and met up w/ JHAR to hike up Lower Holy Jim and into upper for a bit. HR on the way up was 114bpm avg. Perfect clear day and nice in the shade on the way up. Felt pretty good and we decided to run the last part of the switchbacks and to the truck.

Didnt feel like I was pushing the pace at all and just floating easy to get back to the truck but started to feel pretty tired. Only had about 16oz of water and felt dry and like we ran for 3hrs by the time I got to the truck. Looked at download and saw my avg HR for the run part was 168bpm. Not good. Typing this now on Monday in Big Bear and my quads are still sore to the touch and feeling them walking.

MTN Bike 1:15:00 [2] 10.0 mi (8.0 mph)

Finally got one good night of sleep in my own bed! Just under 12 hours and I hope I can get a few more like this...

Put on a few pounds

El Moro w/ Monique into sunset. Long day...long week. Rode the ridge to Laguna and found a bunch of new trails and DH sections. Very cool. Need to go back and do some exploring. No snap in my body at all and my head is shelled.

Swim 50:00 [2] 1.76 mi (28:25 / mi)

Quick swim (that God the Y was literally on the hospital campus) before flying home from ECH Nexus install. Have not had an install in a while and forgot the stress, bad food, long eye sapping reading. Just made the last flight back to OC and way behind on sleep.

Trek (Elliptical) 45:00 [3] 4.7 mi (9:34 / mi)

Up in SanJose for the ECH Nexus install. Super big day of work and didnt get to hotel until 10ish. Got on the elliptical machine at the gym and slammed it to level 20 for 45min until it started giving out. Backed off and then got on the treadmill for 25min ~7:30 pace for 25min

Running (treadmill) 25:00 [3] 3.24 mi (7:43 / mi)

MTN Bike 31:00 [2] 4.25 mi (8.2 mph)

early ride before work - cold. El Moro fence line out and back

Running (treadmill) 40:00 [2] 4.4 mi (9:05 / mi)

Easy on the tready with walking. Inside left leg still feels tight at a longer stride. Really need to get on some yoga over the next weeks. Switched off w/ 15min on the stair stepper.

Strength (24hr newport) 20:00 [1]

Some core and back right after run on the way home to get out of the parking lot on the 405. Madness. Felt good to blow off some work stress. As AC would say all take off and landing workouts. Finished with some solid stretching.
