nice rainy day. Metro gym is now open after major remodel. Perfect timing. Warm up on the new spin bikes just breaking a sweat

kept same pace after short wu/cd. loosing buckets of water

Full body again but only a couple exercises on the upper body. Mostly 2 sets of about 12reps again and core is already getting much stronger but sore from yoga. Obliques already feeling sore the next day

Surprised how good I felt swimming. Smooth and fresh but kept it short.

Killer session at the downtown studio after spending the night w/ L, D and P. Good times last night and really getting into the yogi stuff. R leg feels 90% range back and no pain. Just tight if my leg is all the way back. Sore from the core.

Nice break in the rain just in time to get to quail hill for an easy run w/ M. Love these local trails! Did some discovery and found the south fork goes right into the back of El Moro in less than 5.5 miles. Felt FRESH running.

got busy and headed back down to SD for the Ellsworth Christmas party. Didnt plan on a zero but huge busy day and finished another 2010 goal so more stoked about that.

lunch ride before cisco test. Rode up STT and Luge down. Probably last day of clear skies before 10 days of rain. Dirt was wet and perfect mud splashes. All very easy riding. Felt like I pulled a muscle in my R lat/back on the downhill. I am a fragile man right now...falling apart!

hip still swollen and leg didnt feel bad at all until after ride and then I was just about limping. Inside of R leg/ham. Went away but came back again today stronger after ride. Sitting/driving/stress is making hips super tight.

Another long day and hit up CoreYoga on the way home for my first real yoga class (of course little d is much better) but WOW I had no idea. So glad that I stopped in. Got a week for free so I will try to use it as much as possible.

Hard working and holding stuff but two things became VERY obvious. I have a VERY VERY weak core and I have little flex in my hips. R side is much worse and prob the issue I am having w/ my ham. Shaking trying to hold anything w/ my abs/lower back. SUPER weak and glad I have a chance to pick it up now. HUGE gains to be made there i think

Morning swim before traffic and driving down to San Diego for a boat load of meetings. I dont even want to think about the miles I will be driving over the next couple of weeks.

Swam in a lane w/ Art and just tried to stay on his feet and keep it easy

Got to the gym and out of traffic on the way home from SD. GOOD Call! Started w/ some sauna stretching and then did full body weights. First time in a long time so kept it easy just moving around the weights and 1-2 sets of about 12 reps.

Funny how some areas felt super strong and others were working just to move through the motions. Sore in the right spots two days later. Kinda makes me want to be a body builder and get ripped!!

Ended up working last night until late in San Ber and then rolled up to Big Bear to hang at team sole base camp. GOOD times as always but up late, didnt really sleep, up at 3am to go and then slept again until 7ish. WAY behind on sleep and feeling it. Stressed about taking on a lot w/ work right now but it is the time.

Got home after work at about 8-9pm and was going to spin on the trainer w/ M but just too tired and beat down.

Then just talked to mike the rest of the time. Arm and hip swollen from crash. Hip is bad. Quads are still sore just walking around but just quads today. Lame recovery planning.
