Event: Zion100

Trek 1:00:00 [1] 4.0 mi (15:00 / mi)
shoes: HOKA-Mafate

Couple hours of sleep...too pumped to close my eyes. Feeling much, much better than expected. One small blister and walking normal. Not too sure and still in dream mode. Drove out to "rescue" Mel and hiked 40min towards the Goose climb then later walked out on JEM to watch M bring it home. Love this team here and scenery

Insane. Words cannot describe but will fumble something for blog...unreal support and day of dreams. What_just_happened. Running is FUN!

Trek 35:00 [2] 3.0 mi (11:40 / mi)
shoes: NB-1400-CLR-3

slept solid last night for first time all week. So grateful. Made to the Z pad with Josh and Heather and the rest of the team is partying without me...for now.

We started out from mile 88.5 and I ran/walked to mile 90 and back. Greddy with my energy last few days. Josh ran over an hour and is now swimming at the res. yo! Not as hot as I thought (was ~10am) but feeling clam and relaxed. Extra rested like I would only hope for. Almost party time!

Running 25:00 [3] 2.5 mi (10:00 / mi) +211ft 9:16 / mi
shoes: NB-1400-CLR-3

easy jog on the treadmill with Monique in the morning. Thats all.

Home after last install/demo last night after 9pm and could not be more happy to wrap up a solid week of work. Slightly behind on sleep from installs this week but not worried about it. Itching for a long run now. Balance. Packed and just about ready to load but brain dump out thought before.

Felt like the "road to Zion" was the most enjoyable yet. Maybe because I can look back and recognize windows" now and because I took the time to capture (pictures/notes/"unpublished" blog posts) all the little moments that are in the present of the journey. Super stoked on how everything is going and no stress for event. Life is balanced and could not have planned the training around work any better...even if I was not working. Purple patch of pleasure all around

Taking it over the top was the support that came together in the last days. James, Seegs and Paul...seriously. With the girls going and Matt, Justin, Josh this is what it is all about. Love this family. I have no doubt this will be one of the most positive experiences of my life even if I shit my pants and need to be dragged over the finish. I just want to experience life with these folks. I have no doubt this team will bring out the best in all of us. Funny how you get that image when you first meet someone and it sticks.

Felt pretty crappy last few days but to be expected. Looking back at smugmug/old blog made me laugh. I am not a rookie anymore and just need to trust that He always works it out. I feel super grateful I get to play and explore with the best friends on the planet. Charge life, crush dreams and never, never give up.

Super high stress at work w/ overload from last qtr and PTO coming up. 3 installs up late and had to back out of weekend one at 2am. no fun. lower back is the spot for stress. tight. all good. Feeling better in legs than yesterday and just want to get on vactaion to party with my family.
