ride w/ the crew up to Twin Lakes and then TT down to Bishop. Raining off and on and hard for me to stay in the tri pos and just keep spinning legs but started feeling better and better. As out of TT bike shape that I am I was just about the same as last time I did this ride but I also smacked down a big load on the bike before last time. Actually most relaxing and low key weekend I have had all year. Needed that!

Decided to hike up to the portal from Lone Pine w/ Josiah. What the heck... Was not going to do the Onion Valley section and it was better than sitting in traffic. I thought the road would be boring and the climbing didnt start until the switchbacks. Boy was I WRONG!

Relentless climb starting in the blazing sun and pouring rain. HOT and just climbing and climbing until we got in the shadow of the clouds and witnessed some glory up front and personal. Thank you Lord. That was pretty dang cool.

Decided to flip it when we were out of water and it was getting dark thinking it would be ez to get a ride back down...we were 0/5 when we started running back down and realized how steep it was. A nice christian family finally stopped and gave us a ride. That would have been a long night! I have a lot of respect for those badwater folks. That climb is no joke and they hit it after 122 miles. Yo!!

Ansel Adams run from last lake at the top of Mary down to JMT and camps before getting back up...in the dark. We made it even if it was an extra 1.6 miles or so. Fun times and incredible sunset fun with the laugh factory. So many areas up there and trail options - explore me open please

El Moro early w/ Wick and Matt. Tired and was hoping it would be the first morning waking w/out legs feeling bruised when I squeezed them. Muscles better but tendons tender. Getting dropped on downhills and just feeling like I was dragging it. I was! Split and walked/shuffle back - gotta get rested/recovered by Mammoth.

"all day" at LAC ISD but back in time to squeeze in a quick ride. Always time... If I got out any earlier I would have missed the sunset. Always a positive side and a better view. Sometimes you just need to climb more to see it

easy spin to Cham-Dinner w/ Monique on TT bike. Legs still incredibly sore. Tired. Eating massive quantity of meals. Hands going numb again from tri bars and I wrapped them with pads today.

Good ride with James on his Monday loop. Cant wait to get back next week. Got his DA and was very pleasantly surprised at how comfy and fast it is. Compared to the SC it is so much more stable and confidence inspiring and climbs a lot better. Big difference and fit out of the box. Makes me want to race again!

R rib still sore and legs are TRASHED. Quads really feeling it and IT bands feel bruised. I love baldy.
